Is it actually hard for some to get an ID? Yes because people that are poor may not have access, or the means to aquire identification. Is voter ID necessary? No because faking votes has a much higher risk than it does a reward.
An ID has to be issued by the government and not everybody has easy access to transportation to visit a government institution. Requiring an ID to vote is a modern day example of a Jim Crow law in our society.
Black people statistically tend to be poorer, which means that they are generally less likely to be able to get an ID.

Implicit racism is still very prevalent in common society. It has manifested itself in the voting process with things like voter ID laws. Unless the democrats can stop this systematic exclusion of people who cant get ID’s, the issue will continue to gorw.
